A Sales Management Opportunity: Are you interested in building up and maintaining fruitful customer relationships? Do you enjoy implementing new sales strategies as well as to sell best in class products to business customers in the automotive industry? Then this is the opportunity for you in the Cologne area! You will be responsible for building up the relationship with big automotive corporations by leading the communications with all hierarchy levels and developing a coherent customer strategy. You will also ensure that our products and services meet customer requirements. As Sales Manager you are closely cooperating with our customer engineering teams and build the interface between the customer and our plant to ensure quality and pricing is in line with our standards. Evaluate and keep record of the competitive position and market share for our Sealing System products on a continuous basis and deliver relevant information to the sales organization by participating in business planning and strategy processes Develop and maintain contacts to the customer (OEMs, Tier1) with focus on the German automotive market on all levels, both technically and commercially. Develop relationships with executive purchasing and engineering levels at strategic customers. Work with sales, applications, pricing, marketing, and administration group to develop a consistent strategy for the future. Identify and propose new business opportunities in consultation with Sales and Application Engineering and other FM product groups. Analyze margins, both for existing and new businesses, and to identify anomalies or opportunities for targeted improvements supported by the Sales Manager. REQUIREMENTS: Engineering degree with good commercial understanding and/or Economics degree with very good technical understanding. Good communicator in an international environment German mother tongue and very good spoken and written English Highly motivated in achieving results, high enthusiasm and activity level Ability in leading an interdisciplinary team without disciplinary force, team working skills Program management skills to drive national/ international teams Strong, self-confident personality Minimum 3 plus years of experience working directly with OE/Tier accounts in the German automotive industry WHAT WE OFFER Join us and you'll develop your skills and expertise to the very highest levels, working in an international environment for a company known for excellence and innovation.
