Its core business is the development and precision extrusion of advanced polymeric materials. His products and services serve companies in the medical, automotive, aerospace, fiber optics, energy, and fluid management markets. We are looking for you as the: Business Development Manager DACH (m/f) Key Duties & Responsibilities Maintaining and developing business at existing customers Developing strong relationships with R&D, Purchasing and Quality Departments at main customers, with the purpose of finding new opportunities and to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction Developing an annual plan for business development in assigned territory in conjunction with the management, which details activities to reach the territory sales target Information dissemination: Analyze forecasts, track project status, monitor design opportunities, understand and implement customer goals and objectives, follow market trends, and control the customer’s perception of our client Researching and identifying sales prospects to generate new business, both for Medical and Industrial Business applications Following up on a timely basis, with interesting web leads and leads generated by trade shows Identifying new needs within customers and reporting to the management Communicating frequently with group sales representatives and sales management regarding pertinent issues at accounts, quotes, samples, questions, etc. Coordinating with group sales representatives on sales, management of ongoing business and resolving outstanding customer issues Travel extensively throughout designated territory. Manage travel schedule to optimize time in front of key accounts whilst paying attention to cost effective travel planning Participating in designated trade shows Obtaining information regarding competition about pricing, lead times, capabilities, new products etc. and report to the management Demonstrate good knowledge of our client’s products and tubing applications Participating in technical training programs as designated from time to time to ensure current and sufficient product knowledge Maintaining detailed and accurate records and prospecting activities in appropriate customer files, through a weekly call report and through the use of customer management program such as ACT, or other systems as implemented, from time to time Involvement in major customer claims to help closing the issue Support Head Office for the collection of money, where needed Adhesion to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes Any other tasks assigned by the Sales management, as required Skills & Aptitude 5+ years sales experience with a consistent and demonstrated track record Experience in the polymer extrusion desirable Strategic Business Development Key Account Management Relationships within different industries, Industrial, Automotive or Aerospace Experience in negotiating complex deals that meet strategic revenue goals Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, organizational, and time- management skills Advanced level of English language proficiency (written and spoken) is a must Advanced level of presentation, negotiation and closing skills We offer An employer that is the world leader in its field An international Environment Responsibility and decision latitude Are you interested?
